First trip of the year: Okinawa!

I am so happy right now! On Sunday I arrived back in Kyoto from an amazing three day trip to Okinawa with my Dad. We visited three completely different islands, each beautiful in their own way. Unfortunately the first two days it was rainy and cloudy but we still had a great time.

It was nice to visit a part of Japan, so different to anywhere I have ever been before. The atmosphere was much more relaxed. On the last island we visited, Taketomi-jima, they don`t even have any police because there is never any crime. There were also only two vending machines on the whole island. Anyone who has been to Japan will know how extremely rare this is!

The other reason I am happy is that I have solved the problem I had with uploading photos onto my blog. I took lots of photos in Okinawa and wanted to share them with you all so I was determined to get it sorted out!

I read that if you have problems with your blog it can help to use a different browser. So I thought I might as well give it a try and uploaded Mozilla Firefox. The problem was easily solved. Prepare yourself for an onslaught of photos as I get back in the blogging zone...
