Last week my mum and I went down to London for four days so you can expect a stream of London related posts over the next couple of weeks! Some of my favourite bloggers live in London and I often read their posts and think, ooh I want to go there! (Surely I can't be the only one who thinks that when reading blogs?!)
One of the places that popped up a few times was Borough Market which I read about it in Miho's post here and Amanda's post here. On our final night in London we were staying in Southwark so Borough Market was right around the corner, I decided it would be the perfect place to get breakfast the next day!
Wow. Just so much mouth wateringly delicious looking food! There were loads of cooked meals such as paella but I focused more on the breads and cakes! I bought a delicious almond croissant and shared a piece of tiramisu cheesecake with my mum. Yes you read that right. Tiramisu cheesecake.
Me buying my breakfast. Just look at all those pastries...
See if you can spot the tiramisu cheesecake!

DeleteYummy! I love food markets. My favourite is The Sunday Up Market in Brick Lane, London as it has foods from all over the world for great prices :)
ReplyDeleteOoh that sounds good, I love trying food from all over the world so maybe I should go there next time!

ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteMmm I love Borough market! However my current favourite is Maltby Street Market which is about 5-10 minutes walk from Borough and has a delicious range of food and drink, without giving me quite so many confusing choices as Borough. When I'm at Borough I always want to eat EVERYTHING! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Maltby Street Market, it's going on my list for next time! I know what you mean, there was a lot of choice at Borough and everything looked so good!
DeleteThis looks absolutely delicious! I mean all that food is amazing! I'll add that to my list of things to visit in London! That raspberry macaron looks...wow!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely should add it to your list, there was so much good food! mmm I know, I bet it's messy to eat though!
DeleteLove Borough Markets! They are very popular in London. Always hard to decide what to eat. My fav is the seafood paella.
ReplyDeleteIt was hard to decide! If it had been closer to lunch time then I definitely would have loved to have tried the seafood paella!
DeleteJust stopped by via let's be friends blog hop and have to say I adore Borough Market! It's been a few years since I've been to London (my Dad moved back to the States in 2012) and I miss it dearly! Borough Market was a favorite morning tradition at the end of the week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :) It was my first time to go to Borough Market and I loved it!
